The bye week for Washington High School’s football team couldn’t have come at a better time.

Beset with ongoing injuries, the Patriots were simply no match for defending Class AAA state-champion Martinsburg High last Friday at Terry L. Marcus Stadium. The Bulldogs totally dominated Washington High, 63-0, in an abbreviated game.

Meanwhile, Jefferson High School rolled to an easy win at South Hagerstown High last Friday, 48-6.
