SHENANDOAH JUNCTION – It was a breakneck game for both the Cougars and Patriots Tuesday night, ultimately ending in a 3-3 tie.

Both teams posted a goal in the first half, followed by two a piece in the second. Michael Barr, Killian Butera and Donovan Itobi were the lone scorers for the Patriots. John Riordan and Griffin Price would split the game at the net with Price saving six of eight shots, and Riordan saving five of six that came his way.

When it comes to defense the score speaks for itself. The Patriots totaled 53 steals, with Jefferson not far behind.

With the tie, the Cougars continue to reign as the first overall seed in the EPAC. If they can beat Musselman (0-3-2) on the road on Thursday, it will be the first time any team has gone undefeated in conference play.

"This is the second time any soccer team has went undefeated in conference play since the EPAC formed," Head Coach Chris Steffey said.

Game time is set for 7 p.m.
