Taking it to the house, in football jargon, means scoring a touchdown on a big play. Shepherd University freshman defensive back Donte Harrison was the specialist in that field last Saturday at Ram Stadium.

Harrison did it twice, returning a Marauders’ fumble 60-yards for a score the second quarter, then returning an interception 29 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.

His pair of house calls sparked unbeaten Shepherd to a 55-17 win over Millersville before a homecoming crowd of 6,471 on Saturday. The win over the Marauders helps solidify the Rams No. 4 ranking in the most recent American Football Coaches Association’s Division II poll.
