NEWVILLE, Pa. — The Jefferson High School swim teams finished in 10th place out of 18 schools at Big Spring Invitational, held on Saturday.

The meet included 18 teams and was a good chance for Jefferson’s swimmers to face top-level talent in an atmosphere that’s similar to the state championship meet.

Sierra Knott’s fourth place finish in the 50-yard freestyle came out of a field of 87 swimmers while Chris Turner competed against 67 other swimmers to finish fourth in the 100 yard freestyle.
