Rosetta Mae Talton, 86, of Charles Town, WV passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at Shenandoah Center in Charles Town, WV.

Born August 13, 1934 in Harpers Ferry, WV she was the daughter of the late Garland Piper and Georgia Hawk Piper.

She was a member of Silver Grove United Methodist Church.  

Rosetta was retired from Loudoun County Public Schools with 21 years of service.

She is survived by one son, James Randolph Talton and wife, Melissa of Ranson; three daughters, Cynthia Mae Crawford and husband, Dennis of Charles Town; Sharon Grey of Martinsburg; and Roxanne Marie and husband, Derrick Tigney of Martinsburg; one brother, Melvin Piper, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Randolph Talton in 2019, one sister, Myrtle Wilt and two brothers, Charles Garret and Paul Garret.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Mike Lida officiating.

Interment will be in Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
