John Lee Magaha, 76, of Ranson, WV passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

Born October 18, 1945, he was the son of the late John Edward and Anna P. Magaha.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Wallis Anne Snyder Magaha, his daughter, Jennifer O’Looney and her husband Jimmy of Centreville, VA, his son, Jeffrey Magaha and wife Judy of Shenandoah Junction., and his brother, Gene Magaha of Summit Point, WV.

John was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Betty Emmert and Edwina Fowler, and his brother, James Magaha.

John and his brother, Gene successfully owned and operated Magaha Inc., a business that was started by their father.

He graduated from Charles Town High School in 1963.

John was a master electrician and was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Malta Lodge 80.

John was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed by his family.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 8 at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson with Pastor Duane Jensen officiating.

Interment followed at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.

Friends were received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
