Leslie Ann Condon, (who was very sensitive about her age) 29+ passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 in Charles Town, WV.
She was born in Bethesda, Maryland and was the daughter of Calvin Theodore Condon, Jr. and Anna Dunn.
She was of the Christian faith.
Leslie was a successful racehorse owner, trainer and breeder for many years at the Charles Town Race Track, where she was on the board of directors of the HBPA and the Race Track Chaplaincy.
Leslie was enamored with horses from the age of three and became an accomplished hunter jumper as a young girl. The track and barns will never be the same without her.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Anna and Frank Marinoff of Point of Rocks, MD:, her father, Calvin Condon, Jr. of Lake Anna, VA and brother, Calvin “Ted” Condon, III of Mt. Airy, MD.
She was preceded in death by a very good friend and colleague horseman, Edward “Ted” Bowring.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Tri-State Veterinary, 715 Meandering Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430, with Dr. Henry Christie officiating and will be followed by a social gathering.
