In loving memory of James Edward Grim, 88, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, who entered this life on January 22, 1931 and departed this life Monday, December 30, 2019.

Mr. Grim was born January 22, 1931 in Jefferson County, West Virginia, son of the late Henry William Grim and Susan Rebecca Nicely Grim.

He was a custodian at Smalley Basket Factory in Berryville, Virginia.

He married Elizabeth Ann Silveous Grim on October 26, 1972 in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Surviving with his wife of 47 years, are two sons, Charles and Donald Silveous and their wives; two daughters, Elizabeth “Sissy” Grim and her fiancé, Rick Barren, and Connie Silveous; one brother; nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020 in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville, VA.

Arrangements were handled by Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA.
