Charles “Chuck” Franklin Johnson went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Born on August 31, 1939 to Jesse Willard Johnson and Ethel Jean Johnson Morris, Chuck is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra Ennis Johnson, his daughter Jennifer Tito-Arroyo, his son-in-law Arturo Tito-Arroyo, and his grandchildren Victor and Ariana Nieves, as well as his brother Tommy Johnson and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers — Donald, Gene, Jimmy, Lou, and David, and his son, Brian Thomas Johnson, who Chuck adored and loved very much. Chuck will be remembered for his uncommon kindness, his compassion, and his sense of humor. He was fun to be around and made everyone around him smile. Chuck loved antiquing, doing yard work — especially splitting wood — but most of all, he loved and cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Chuck’s lessons of love, strength, and perseverance will remain in the hearts of all he touched.

Arrangements are by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town.
