Linda Lou Staubs, 71, of Charles Town, WV passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA.

Born August 21, 1949 in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Elsie Cogle Cook.

She was a member of Silver Grove United Methodist Church.

Linda loved being with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Saturday shopper.

She is survived by one daughter, Penny Smoot and husband, Richard of Charles Town; one son, Roy Staubs, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Kearneysville; granddaughters, Amanda Painter, Brooke Smoot, Madilyn Staubs, Meadow Staubs,; grandson, Tannor Staubs, great-grandson, Greyson Painter, sisters, Barbara Staubs and Marie Rogers and brothers, Teddy Cook and Vincent Cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Staubs, Sr. and brothers, Ray Cook, Doug Cook, Wayne Cook and Lyle Cook.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Mike Lida officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
