Guy Clifton Ledford, 78, of Kearneysville, WV passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Hospice of the Panhandle, after an extended illness.

He was born in North Carolina to Jonathon and Thersa Ledford on August 18, 1940. He married Barbara (Daniels) Ledford and would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on March 6th of this year. He retired as a longhaul driver for Roadway many years ago. He was an avid mechanic and spent most of his retirement imparting his mechanical expertise to his grandsons in an aggravating fashion. Those of you that knew Guy realized that he loved to antagonize anyone and everyone in his own fun loving and light hearted fashion. On the weekends, Guy could be found bidding at one of the local auctions. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and especially great-grandfather. His family meant everything to him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Daniels) Ledford; his children, Sherry (Mike) Duncan; Nadine (Scott) Kemp, Annette (Mike) Goode and Clifton (Valerie) Ledford; his grandchildren, Michael (Heather) Duncan, Tabitha  (Eric) Courville, Alex (Chelsey) Kemp, Cory Ledford, Jason (Amber) Duncan, Jimmy Duncan, Katelyn (Philip) Duncan, Perry and Madison Ledford; his great grandchildren, Ava and Cora Luke, Lilly and Carley Duncan, Levi and Owen Kemp, Elijah Courville and Savannah Duncan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Henry Gouge and Rafe Ledford, three sisters, Jenny Friedel, Ruby Gordon and Nell Davis and one grandddaughter, Michelle Duncan. (Pickle)
