Francis “Frank” Marshall Burch, Jr.

Francis “Frank” Marshall Burch, Jr., 71, of Charles Town, WV passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 7, 1949 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Francis Burch, Sr. and Ruby Mae Jackson Burch.

He was of the Christian faith.

Frank was a graduate of Charles Town High School, Class of 1969. He served in the US Army in heavy artillery in Vietnam. Frank retired from Burch Wood Products as plant manager with over 30 years of service.

He was a lifetime member of Charles Town Moose Lodge  #948 and Charles Town VFW #3522 and the American Legion Post #071.

Frank was an avid NASCAR fan and loved camping at River Bend in Falling Waters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Vickie, at home; three daughters, Paula Roll and husband Mike of Charles Town; Stephanie Burke and companion, Mike of Charles Town; Jaime Hottel and husband Larry of Inwood; seven grandchildren, Andrea, Caitlin, Austin, Hunter, Derek, Casey and Lilly; two great-grandchildren, Tristin and Jolene, special aunt, Peggy Boyd and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jo Ann Davis and Judy Lapp, three brothers, Duane Burch and twin infant brothers, Terry and Jerry and one aunt, Isabelle Ebersole.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Bobby Brooks officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.

Pallbearers were Larry Hottel, Casey Hottel, Mike DeMeza, Austin Burch, Mike Burch, Rodney Davis, Brandt Petrie, Cody Waite and Derek Burke.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430 or the American Lung Association.
