William Allen Duncan, 81, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Hospice Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born August 25, 1938 in Wytheville, VA, he was the son of the late Samuel Duncan and Ruth Armbruster Duncan.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Popkins and husband, Kenny of Harpers Ferry and Amy Duncan of Harpers Ferry; three sisters, Marie Pickle of Crockett, VA; Louise Visage and husband, Jim of Crossville, TN and Lynn Sadler and husband, Bob of Bland, VA; four granddaughters, Brenda Wooldidge and husband, Alex, Sarah Popkins and Shaun, Alexis Popkins and Zayna Palmer and nine great-grandchildren, Lili, Kaeleigh, Emma, Keenan, Tavaree, Jayla, Jordynn, Skyla and Nayomi and many nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie P. Duncan and one son, William M. Duncan, five brothers, David, Johnny, Junior, Marshall and Charlie Duncan and three sisters, Mittie Rhodes, Myrtle Hall and Velvet Duncan.

Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2019 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. John Wilson and Rev. David Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 2:00 pm until time of service.
