Edward Christopher Bahr, 45, died at his home January 19, 2020 at Middleway, WV.

He was born April 17, 1974 at Hudson, NY. He was the son of Catherine and Donald Cross and Ed and Sandy Bahr.

Christopher was a 1993 graduate of Jefferson High School. He had a great love of the outdoors, whether camping, hunting or growing food. He was a great cook and liked to create new and spicy foods. Over the years he lived in Alabama, Arizona, and his favorite  Colorado. His greatest love was for his dogs. He had several over the years and now he is at peace with them.

He is survived by his loving family of his parents and several siblings; sister, Aimee Canby and Rick, niece, Eva and nephew, Grant; stepbrother, Andrew Cross and Stephanie, niece Lauren and nephew Logan; stepsisters, Kim Cross Mehta and Nimish, niece, Mia and nephew, Jay; Renee Risch and Troy, nieces, MacKenzie and Gabrielle King; Melissa Bahr, niece, Alexis Bahr; Aunts and Uncles, Joseph Roach, Martha Roach, Edward Roach and Jenean,  cousins, Audrey and Savannah and Uncle Tom Butscher and Camille and cousin Katelyn.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Patricia and Vern Roach and Emma and Fred Bahr.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 25, with a visitation from 9-10:00 am and the service at 10:00 am at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV. Burial will be private.

A reception will follow at Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church.
