Patrick Edward Fowler, 74, of Charles Town, WV passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Gilchrist Center in Townson, MD.

Born September 26, 1945 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Vinnette Devenon Edwards Fowler and the late Francis Burgess Fowler.

He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church.

Patrick was a member and served as President of the Eastern Panhandle Amateur Radio Club.

In addition to his mother, Vinnette, he is survived by three daughters, Amy Fowler and Elias Woldehanna of Pikesville, MD; Sarah C. Fowler and Ashlee Alderman of Augusta, WV and Jessica Taylor and Allen Stephey of Hagerstown, MD; one son, Phillip Fowler of Martinsburg, WV; five grandchildren, Christopher, Joey, Faith, Emma and Isaac; one sister, Frances Fitzgerald and the rest of his wonderful family and close friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca, in 2011, one son, Gregory, in 2018 and two brothers, Michael and Timothy Fowler.

Services were held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Mark Shover officiating. Interment was in St. Peters Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
