Rickard Whann Chambers, 73, of Kearneysville, WV passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Born September 30, 1947 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Forrest Rickard Chambers and Ruby Elizabeth Weimer Chambers.

He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, serving in the Vietnam War, having earned numerous medals and commendations.

Rickard retired from the Jefferson County School System with 17 years of service.

Rickard loved his little “fur baby” dogs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Judy York Chambers, at home; three step-daughters, Linda “Sunshine” Testerman, Angela Thompson and Janet Nesslerodt, one step-son, James “Dunier” York, one grandson, Brian Richardson and wife, Kelly, one great granddaughter, Kahrynn and numerous extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Elizabeth Chambers.

Services will be held at a later date and inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery.
