Edith ‘Hon” Nicewarner, 91, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away December 29, 2020 at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Born January 7, 1929 in Millville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Moss Ranalli and Essie Maggie Longerbeam Ranalli.

She was a member of Bolivar Pentecostal Church.

Edith was retired from Musselman Plant in Inwood. She was an avid Orioles fan and loved game shows, especially, Family Feud. “Hon” greatly enjoyed baking and was a wonderful wife and mother. She so looked forward to going to church and having her hair done at Shear Image.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay Kerns and husband, Gary of Harpers Ferry, WV; two sons, Terry Nicewarner and wife, Margie of Harpers Ferry and Mike Nicewarner and wife, Pam of Charles Town; one grandson, Josh Nicewarner and wife,  Rose, one sister-in-law, Marie Ranalli, one step-great grandson, Chance “Chad”, and faithful K-9 companion, Angel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, James, whom she was married to for 73 years,  daughter, Kathy Nicewarner,  four sisters, Louise Turner, Marie Whittington, Hazel Minnick and Dorothy Wilt,  two brothers, Freddie Ranalli, Sr. and Frank Ranalli and son-in-law, Bruce Davidson.

Services will be private.
