Michael N. Weister, Sr., 56, of Martinsburg, WV passed from this life on Friday, February 7, 2020.

He entered this life on May 16, 1963 to the late Mr. James E. Weister, Sr., of Shenandoah Junction, WV and the late Mrs. Rosa Corbin of Fort Myers, Florida.

He graduated Jefferson High School in Shenandoah Junction, WV in 1981. Upon graduation he joined the United States Army and served until 1984 in the HHD 69th Transportation Battalion in South Korea.

He was employed at Quad Graphics in Martinsburg, WV where he had worked for the last seventeen years. He was Baptist and attended Galilean Baptist Church in Shepherdstown, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. James E. Weister, Jr. of Elkins, WV and Mr. Robert R. Weister of Hagerstown, MD.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Darlene Markley Weister and children, Michael N. Weister, Jr. of Sterling, VA, Miss Maria Weister, of Warrenton, VA, Dr. Apryl McDonough of Charles Town, WV, Mr. Lloyd A. Locke, Jr. of Hedgesville, WV, Mrs. Sarah Motilal of Ranson, WV, Mr. Clifford Locke and Mr. Jason W. Locke both of Martinsburg, WV.

One brother also survives him, Mr. David Weister, of Ranson, WV and four sisters, Mrs. Roseanne Thatcher of Oklahoma, Mrs. Marion Bridges of South Carolina, Mrs. Pam Davis of South Carolina, and Mrs. Louise Cameron of Shenandoah Junction, WV.

He leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two special friends, Mrs. Bonita Cockrell of Chestnut Hill, WV and Mr. Harley T. Tetro of Charles Town, WV.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town, WV with Pastor William G. Long officiating.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg, WV.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
