Elinor Kable Manzuk, 80, of Charles Town passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia.

Born March 16, 1939 in Charles Town, she was the daughter of Donald McCarthy Kable and Hilda Marshall Kable.

Elinor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She attended Asbury United Methodist Church.

She graduated from Charles Town High School and West Virginia University with a Degree in Elementary Education.

She was a member of DAR, Dolley Madison Garden Club, bridge group, tennis group and the cotillion club.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Paul R. Manzuk, at home; daughters, Paula M. Moessner and husband William, of Reston, Virginia, Beth A. Manzuk and husband Peter Trivero, of Shepherdstown and Barbara E. Yeager and husband Thomas, of Charles Town; grandson, Benjamin Yeager; sister-in-law, Sammy Kable; brothers, Gary M. Kable, of Charles Town, Donald H. Kable and wife Jane, of Sharpsburg, Maryland; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Emory Kable.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 110 W. North St., Charles Town with the Rev. Duane Jensen officiating.

Interment will be private.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 16 at the church.

Arrangements are by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town.
