Robert (Bobby) Allen Gayhart, 68, of Charles Town, WV passed away February 15, 2020 at Berkeley Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV.

Born October 8, 1951 in Ranson, WV he was a son of the late Charles Gayhart and Margaret (Watson) Gayhart.

Bobby was a US Army Veteran. He worked as a horse trainer at numerous racetracks in Maryland, Delaware and WV.

Bobby loved horse racing and spent most of his time at the racetrack or watching on TV when he was no longer able to make it to the track.

He will be sadly missed by his family. He is survived by his two sisters, Libby Viands of Winchester, Diane Roper of Ranson; three brothers, Ronnie Gayhart of Kearneysville, David Gayhart of Ranson and Dennis Gayhart of Glengary and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
