Nina Rudd Saunders, 92, of Charles Town died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019 at her residence under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle and her daughter/caregiver, Susan Yoder.

She was born Sept. 1, 1927 in Balley Bend. She was the daughter of William Griever Rudd and Pearl May (Asbury) Rudd.

Nina retired as a Nurse’s Aide at Jefferson Memorial Hospital and other various hospitals and nursing homes.

She was of the Protestant Faith.

She was a Member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1028, Charles Town.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly J. Hardison, of Bluemont, Virginia, Susan C. Yoder and husband Kenneth, of Charles Town; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Donald Saunders who died Sept. 2, 1987; daughter, Pamela Revis and numerous sisters and brothers.

A Graveside Service will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at the Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town with Dr. Henry Christie officiating.

There will be no visitation.
