Jason James Howe, 49, of Shenandoah Junction, WV passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his residence.
Born October 30, 1970 in Spearfish, SD, he was the son of Joyce Helen Howe of Shenandoah Junction and the late Jack Duane Howe.
Jason was a graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1990 and also attended James Rumsey Technical Institute. Jason was a career auto mechanic and excelled at his job keeping the WV state trooper’s cruisers safe and on the road.
Jason loved his motorcycle and jeeps and was also an avid hunter.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce of Shenandoah Junction; two sisters, Jill Duklet and husband, Chris of Watertown, SD and Jolyn Howe and husband, Joseph Bungard of Minneapolis, MN; two nephews, Travis Duklet and Joshua Duklet, faithful feline companion, Manny, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, Jack, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Arndt and Alvina Baker and paternal grandparents, John Howe, Jr. and Mabel Howe.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. John Langenstein and Chaplain M.D. Gilmore. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, WV.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Jefferson County Community Ministries.
Out of respect for family members and other visitors, face masks will be required and all are asked to practice social distancing and follow directives.
