Thomas “T.J.” David Cekada, Jr., 29, of Harpers Ferry, WV, departed this life on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

Born June 11, 1992 in Winchester, Virginia, he was the son of Thomas David Cekada, Sr. and Lisa Dawn (Ditko) Cekada.

He was a member of the Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater in Charles Town, West Virginia.

T.J. adored his son, Tommy, and treasured every moment with him and with Brittany.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brittany of Harpers Ferry, WV; one son, Tommy “Little T”; parents, Thomas, Sr. and Lisa (Ditko) Cekada of Harpers Ferry, WV; one brother, Luke Cekada; maternal grandparents, Ron and Joyce Ditko; paternal grandmother, Kizzarie Cekada; parents-in-law, Gene and Mary Baker; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

T.J. was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Cekada.

A memorial Mass was held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV, with Father Cody Ford as the celebrant, assisted by Deacon Dave Galvin.

The family received friends on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. with a Vigil and Rosary at 4:00 p.m., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
