Peggy Jane Dillow, 71, of Ranson, WV passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born December 8, 1949 in Leesburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Luther Benton Lindsay and Thelma Pearl Drummond Lindsay.

She was a member of CrossPoint Church of God.

Peggy was retired from John’s Family Restaurant with 40 years of service. She loved to sing and spend time with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord, and relied deeply on her faith.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis, at home; one daughter, Jennifer Hale and husband, Chris of Charles Town, WV; six sons, William Porter and wife, Deborah of Martinsburg, WV; Charles Porter and wife, Melissa of Martinsburg; Eric Porter and wife, Karen of Mississippi; Trevor Porter of Ranson; Brian Dillow and wife, Sara of Maryland; and James Dillow of Ranson; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, three sisters, Brenda Flemming, Barbara Dorr, Lottie Ballenger and  faithful K-9 companion, Jazz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Wright and one brother, Roy Lindsay.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CrossPoint Church of God, the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County or Briggs Animal Shelter.
