Paul Leo Meyers, 90, of Charles Town, passed away on Thursday, May, 7, 2020 at Reston Medical Center in Reston, VA.

He was born September 2, 1929 in Zanesville, OH and was the son of the late Paul Charles Meyers and Katherine (Friedenour) Meyers.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy “Dot” (Hasty) Meyers and four sons: Michael C. “Mike” Meyers, Andrew L. “Andy” Meyers, Matthew W. “Matt” Meyers and David E. “Dave” Meyers and a son preceded in death, Thomas “Gary” Meyers.

He is survived by his grandchildren; Lindsay, Michael, Mark, Amanda, Daniel, Emily, Zackary, Noah and Cobun and great-grandchildren; Shawn, Thomas, Lilly, Cooper, Emery and Abigail.

He was of Catholic faith.

Paul proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

He was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus (4th degree), American Legion Post #71, Kiwanis Club of Charles Town and the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation.

There will be a celebration of life announced at a later date.
