Edith Virginia (McDaniel) Clay, 86, of Martinsburg West Virginia, passed away in the early morning on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Born on September 8, 1933 in Charles Town WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles McDaniel and Mozell Johnson. Edith was a member of the Kingdom Life Church in Charles Town. She is survived by three sons, Gary Clay, Michael Clay and Robert Clay; one daughter Shari Carr; eight grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren. The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open to receive friends only from the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel.Visitors will be required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
