Nov. 27—Ranson Tree Lighting at Lancaster Circle in downtown Ranson, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Santa and Mrs. Claus to arrive in horse-drawn sled.)

Nov. 27—Historically Hip Holiday Kickoff, Charles Town, West Washington Street, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Downtown choir and orchestra performances, shops open late.

Nov. 27—Kids Ornament Making, Charles Washington Hall, Charles Town, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dec. 3—Kids Ornament Making (before tree lighting), Charles Washington Hall, Charles Town, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Dec. 3—Charles Town Tree Lighting at Jefferson County Courthouse in downtown Charles Town, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Dec. 4—Charles Town and Ranson Christmas Parade, 2 p.m. in downtown streets of Charles Town and Ranson.

Dec. 4—Shepherdstown Christmas Parade, East German Street, 10 a.m. 

Dec. 4-5—Olde Tyme Christmas, Harpers Ferry and Bolivar. Daytime music, crafts and wagon rides. Nighttime holiday home and storefront illuminated decorations, 6-8 p.m.

Dec. 11-12—Olde Tyme Christmas, Harpers Ferry and Bolivar. Daytime music, crafts and wagon rides. Nighttime holiday home and storefront illuminated decorations, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Dec. 17—“Elf” movie showing at Charles Washington Hall, downtown Charles Town, 6:30 p.m.
