Atherton, C.E., entitled “Plat Showing Division of Property of Stanley L. Kelley,” recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Jefferson County, West Virginia, in Plat Book 2, at Page 272, to which plat reference is made for a more particular description of said real estate.

 At the time of the execution of the Deed of Trust, this property was reported to have a mailing address of 626 Morrison Street, Charles Town, WV 25414.

The above-described property will be sold subject to any covenants, restrictions, easements, leases and conditions of record, and subject to any unpaid real estate taxes.

Snow Removal

Proposals

The Independent Fire Company at 200 West 2nd Avenue in Ranson is soliciting proposals for snow removal and ice control for the period of November 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021.

The contractor will be expected to keep the area in front of our equipment bays to Fairfax Boulevard passible 24 hours a day. In addition, the parking area on the 3rd Avenue side and the alley between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue must be cleared for use as needed after the end of the snowfall.

The sidewalks around our building must be cleared within 24 hours after the snowfall has stopped.

Proof of insurance must be included with the proposal.

Proposals must be received by October 15, 2020.

The State of West Virginia, Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Water and Waste Management (DWWM) is proposing to modify and reissue the West Virginia National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Water Pollution Control Permit for Stormwater Associated with Industrial Activities.  The General Permit authorizes discharges to waters of the state from various industrial activities as defined in the General Permit.  The draft modification does not propose to extend the expiration date of the General Permit which is September 12, 2024.

DWWM is proposing the modification in response to agreed Order Number 19-13-EQB issued by the West Virginia Environmental Quality Board and to incorporate comments from the EPA, which were provided upon review of the proposal.

The Draft Permit and Fact Sheet may be inspected by appointment between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday from September 17, 2020 - October 23, 2020 at the Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Water and Waste Management, 601 57th Street SE, Charleston, WV  25304.  Copies of the documents may be obtained from the Division at a nominal cost.

Hearing impaired individuals having access to a Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD) may contact our agency by calling (304) 926-0489. Calls must be made between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p. m. Monday through Friday.
