TERMS OF SALE:

1) The property will be conveyed in an “AS IS” physical condition by Deed containing no warranty, express or implied, subject to the Internal Revenue Service right of redemption, all property taxes, prior Deeds, liens, reservations, encumbrances, restrictions, rights-of-ways, easements, covenants, conveyances and conditions of record in the Clerk’s office or affecting the subject property.

NOTICE is hereby given that MOUNTAINEER GAS COMPANY, a public utility, has filed with the PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF WEST VIRGINIA, an application containing decreased rates, tolls and charges for furnishing natural gas service to approximately 220,000 customers at various locations in the Counties of Barbour, Berkeley, Boone, Braxton, Brooke, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge, Fayette, Gilmer, Grant, Greenbrier, Hancock, Hardy, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Kanawha, Lewis, Lincoln, Logan, Marion, Marshall, Mason, McDowell, Mercer, Mineral, Mingo, Monongalia, Monroe, Morgan, Nicholas, Ohio, Pendleton, Preston, Putnam, Raleigh, Randolph, Ritchie, Roane, Summers, Tucker, Tyler, Upshur, Wayne, Wetzel, Wirt, Wood, and Wyoming.

INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Board of Education invites qualified firms to submit a bid to provide all labor, services for preventive maintenance, and repair for HVAC systems for Jefferson County Schools (including the Transportation and Operations Facility, Maintenance Department, and Board of Education office building) for the remainder of  2019-20 through 2020-21 school years.  

All work shall be in accordance with the plans provided by the Jefferson County Maintenance Department and the Invitation to Bid. CITY OF RANSON

In accordance with W. Va. Code § 8A-7-9 et seq., and W. Va. Code § 8A-5-8 et seq., and Ranson Code § 19A-1.3 et seq.  The Ranson Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 9, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Ranson City Hall, 312 S Mildred Street, Ranson, WV 25438. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on a petition to rezone Shenandoah Springs and to accept public comments on a proposed Land Development Plan and Plat. Upon recommendation and approval of the zoning map amendment by the Ranson Planning Commission, an ordinance amending the zoning map will be present to the City Council for 1st reading on September 17, 2019 at 7:00 PM at City Hall and presented to the City Council for the 2nd reading on October 1, 2019 at 7:00 PM at City Hall. The proposed zoning map amendment is intended to rezone SmartCode New Community (SC-NC) to SmartCode New Community (SC-NC). Copies of the proposed zoning amendment and Land Development Plan and Plat are available for inspection during regular business hours 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays, excluding holidays at City Hall. 

All persons are invited to attend and make comments about the proposed zoning amendment and Land Development Plan and Plat. If you cannot attend but wish to comment, you may write and it must be received to the following address prior to September 2, 2019: City of Ranson, Attn: Planning Department, 312 S Mildred St, Ranson, WV 25438.
